“Smile Express” Free Bus for Students

The“Smile Express”is a free, highway shuttle bus service that operates between Tokyo Station and Koriyama Station in Fukushima which acts as the bridge between companies in Fukushima and ambitious new graduates. Available to students and graduates searching for employment opportunities, this service aims to facilitate industry development, employment opportunities, and regional vitalization in Fukushima.

The NIRAKU Sukagawa Hall was closed for business for the 35th Sukagawa City Shakado River National Fireworks Festival, and the car parking lot was opened without charge to the general public.
Before the fireworks began, open live radio shows were broadcasted, and there was a short live music performance, building up the excitement of the fireworks viewers.
Charity donation activities were held on the day of the Festival, which were donated to TV stations and Sukagawa City along with a portion of sales from each stand.

NIRAKU sponsored the third “Tohoku Rokkon Festival 2013 Fukushima” held in Fukushima City of Fukushima Prefecture on June 1-2, 2013.
We held free face-painting services at our booth, attracting a total of 5,000 visitors during the two-day event.

NIRAKU sponsored message boards within event grounds at the nation-wide tour “KAZETOROCK LIVE Fukushima CARAVAN Japan,” which began on December 22, 2012 in Fukushima, and toured the cities of Okinawa, Sapporo, Nagasaki, Tokyo, Kobe, Hiroshima, Miyagi, and Iwate before coming back to Fukushima.
The boards were covered with heartfelt messages by event attendees.

The All Japan Organization of Social Contribution awarded NIRAKU the First Prize in the Sector of Pachinko Hall Operators of the 9th Social Contribution Award.
NIRAKU received high evaluation for its social contribution activities aimed at facilitating regional interaction and regional industry development. In particular, initiatives such as the closing of our hall and opening of its parking lot to the public during local fireworks festivals since 2002, as well as the free shuttle bus we operate between Tokyo Station and Koriyama Station in Fukushima for students searching for employment opportunities were commended.
